in sochi, russia next month. there are four events going on right now, including a half pipe snowboarding and three brand new events to the olympic games. this qualifier, this event was supposed to take place in lake tahoe this week, but was canceled because of lack of snow and moved here to breckinridge. as you can see, the problem here is too much snow. all the events were actually canceled today because of heavy snow, blustery conditions and zero visibility up on the mountain, but we've got nearly a dozen athletes hoping to compete this weekend. we couldn't even get video of the snowboard half pipe because of the blizzard conditions. sean white is the front-runner again. now, on the women's side, the front-runner is 24-year-old elena height from lake tahoe. the only woman who's performed the double cork. an alley-oop, back flip with a 180, twice. >> snowboarding is all about being scared, facing your fears and overcoming that. i think all of us are a little bit of adrenaline junkies. >> the winter olympics wil
